GLYMPHATIC  study

GLYMPHATIC: Measuring glymphatic flow in the human brain using MRI

The Radiology Research Center at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is looking for healthy adult volunteers of any gender, aged 18 to 30 years old, to participate in a study aimed at measuring the glymphatic flow (clearance system peripheral to the blood vessels) in the brain using an MRI technique called “diffusion MRI”. In particular, we are interested in measuring this flow at different phases of the cardiac cycle (systole vs diastole) and between awake and asleep states. If you wish to participate, we will schedule you for two MRI sessions at the Campus Biotech in Geneva, at most two weeks apart.

  • Session 2: Daytime (9h – 16h)
